A legacy of Japanese cuisine awaits guests at Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot. Founded in 1949 in Akasaki in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture, Kamitoku began serving gyukotsu, or beef-bone broth, and its branches have maintained this original flavor ever since.
According to general manager Yu Conceicao, the dining experience will leave guests with a full stomach and feeling like they just visited Japan.
On May 20, Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot will launch its new Chicken Katsu Teishoku ($9.99) and Chicken Katsu Bento ($9.99). From May 20 to May 31, the company will serve $1 beer, including brands such as Kirin, Kirin Light and Asahi Zero.
“Our bento and teishoku are inspired by the flavors of (a) Japanese mom’s home cooking, freshly prepared and piping hot upon order, allowing customers to enjoy authentic Japanese taste at an affordable price,” Conceicao says.
The restaurant creates a twist on nostalgic Japanese hot pot dining and offers a relaxing atmosphere for families.
“I love to serve our food to families,” Conceicao says. “It makes me feel like I am serving my homemade food to my own family.”
With locations spanning from Japan to Hawaii, the Kamitoku legacy has deep roots in family values and offers something for everyone.
