“Our food is cooked to order,” explains owner and general manager Daniel Leung. “We serve restaurant-quality dishes on a takeout basis.”
In 1992, Leung partnered with executive chef Jason Ruan to found the popular, now-closed sit-down eatery Panda Cuisine. After two decades operating the late-night restaurant, the partners shifted to serving delectable to-go cuisine at their Safeway location.
Their weekly special item are plates priced at only $9.50. This week’s special is the Pork Chops with Salt and Pepper ($9.50; $13.50, regular price), served from March 31 to April 6.
Need platters for a party? Provide the number of people in your party and the dishes you desire, and the chefs will prepare platters for pickup.
“We have a lot of people lining up every day, and we are happy about the food we have to serve them,” Leung says.
