Moke’s Bread & Breakfast continues to amaze local diners and visitors alike with its ono brunch selections served in a casual, comfortable environment.
With locations in Kaimuki and Kailua, guests can get their Moke’s fix whether they’re in town or on the Windward side. The popular restaurant has continued to perfect its locally inspired comfort food over the past two decades since opening in 2004.
In addition to the popular Corned Beef Hash Plate ($16.50), patrons rave about the Classic Reuben Sandwich ($14.95). The superb sandwich is crafted with sliced corned beef on Moke’s house-made dark rye bread along with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing to tie all the bold flavors together.
“The rye bread is amazing and the sandwich really hits the spot,” says Moke’s Bread and Breakfast owner/operator Keola Watson. “It really tastes like New York.”
INGREDIENTS ARE KEY
This brunch must-try favorite features tender brisket along with potatoes and green onions served alongside two eggs and rice or hash browns.
TAKING THE TIME TO GET IT RIGHT
The corned beef hash is prepared meticulously. The slow-cooked brisket takes all day to make before being coupled with just the right amount of potatoes to form the flavorful hash.
