Rinka Japanese Restaurant is named after a Japanese flower. The upscale Ward Village eatery continues to blossom to provide guests with authentic Japanese eating experiences.
Starting in March, Rinka’s popular lunchtime set menus will be available at dinnertime — with upgraded options. Known as teishoku, the pre-selected dishes typically include a delectable entree along with rice or udon, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and a selection of sides.
Uni and Bluefin Tuna Teishoku ($67.75) features fresh sea urchin and fish, while Yakiniku Teishoku ($52.75) showcases an array of mouthwatering grilled meats. The Fried Shrimp Teishoku ($42.75) serves succulent shrimp tempura. All come with elegantly arranged side dishes.
“The point is that you can order several meals for one person more easily than ordering only one meal at a time,” explains manager Midori Omura. “You don’t have to worry about many things, like which dish to choose.
“Enjoying the food is one of the attractions of eating out, Omura continues. “So, rather than wasting time worrying about food, it’s better to enjoy the time with the people you’re with.”
As an added bonus to Rinka’s ground-level location, plenty of parking is available nearby — easing customers’ anxieties and allowing them to fully immerse themselves in Rinka’s appealing ambiance and stellar service.
“We are always striving to develop new menu items, weaving together the original flavors of Japanese cuisine with new ideas,” Omura concludes. “Guests will have a dining experience that they will never get tired of anytime they come to our restaurant.”
