Guests continue to discover Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot, where homemade flavors converge in every memorable, delicious meal that brings a modern twist to traditional Japanese hot pot dining.
When crafting their hot pot favorites amid the lively environment in the Market City Shopping Center eatery, diners build meals by picking their favorite broth, starches and meat to cook at their table. With at least eight meat selections plus an array of vegetables, the possibilities are endless.
Gyu Shogun ($85) is a giant hot pot meal that’s been billed as “the largest in Hawaii.” This satisfying entree is filled with 6 ounces of delicious meat and an abundance of vegetables that feeds three to four people — a perfect option for friends and family gathering for a special meal.
The Hot Pot Lunch Special (starting at $9.99), meanwhile, serves up Japanese-style shabu-shabu, and was created by Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot as a token of appreciation for the local community. The Waimanalo Sampler ($8) features organic vegetables grown by Naauao Farm in Waimanalo. The natural sweetness of the veggies perfectly complements the beef bone soup.
