Hawaii is the perfect place to find great seafood, and Genki Sushi has you covered with multiple locations across the state.
Envisioned in 1968 by the then-24-year-old Japanese sushi chef Fumio Saito, the restaurant was the first of its kind to use a conveyor belt system to transport sushi to customers, and the rest, as they say, is history.
“Our goal is to bring together an affordable family dining atmosphere, quality sushi and Japanese food items at reasonable prices in a unique dining setting,” says purchasing director and operations manager David Moon.
The restaurant specializes in multiple sushi dishes to satisfy any palate, including the Spicy Tuna, Garlic Shrimp and Ultimate Trio. The latter is served with ahi, hamachi and salmon. (Prices vary depending on location.)
However, Genki Sushi doesn’t just treat its guests to individual sushi plates, it also serves poke, chicken karaage and chicken katsu, to name just a few.
As the holidays draw closer, Genki Sushi is offering a gift card sale: Purchase $100 in gift cards and receive a complimentary $10 gift card. Purchase $200 and receive a $25 gift card. Act soon, because the special ends Dec. 31.
