The holiday season is just around the corner, and Island Popper is ready to help customers celebrate with festive flavors. The local popcorn shop, which formerly operated out of a food truck, is currently showcasing its Thanksgiving flavor: Pumpkin Spice Pecan Caramel (starting at $3.25), and its holiday 2023 flavor: Butter Pecan Caramel (starting at $3.25).

“Our holiday 2023 flavor is an ode to the truck days,” says owner Andrea Tournis-Vagenas. “The holiday flavor when I operated out of the truck was Butter Pecan Caramel. We’re taking it to another level this time.”

This merry mixture features non-GMO popcorn, caramel that’s made from scratch and roasted butter pecans, while the Thanksgiving flavor is infused with pumpkin spice.

Tournis-Vagenas hopes to continue bringing quality products and great customer service to her guests.

“Nothing matters more to me than putting out a quality product and making each customer feel like family,” she says. “We want both to bring you back!”

After operating out of a food truck for seven years, Tournis-Vagenas’s brick-and-mortar opened in 2019, and has been serving classic and local popcorn flavors to customers ever since.

“My favorite part has always been our customers,” Tournis-Vagenas says. “You all make my day every day. I love seeing you walk in the door every time!”
