Located in Market City Shopping Center, Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot offers a modern twist on nostalgic Japanese hot pot dining.
“I love to serve our food to families. It makes me feel like I am serving my homemade food to my own family,” says general manager Yu Conceicao.
The eatery showcases a multitude of dishes that allow customers to select their choice of meat, starches and broth. The Gyu-Shogun ($85) includes a 6-ounce Washugyu and lots of vegetables, Japanese hot pot ingredients, an iced matcha and sorbet from Henry’s Place in Waikiki. Also popular is the Lunch Special Hotpot (starts at $9.99), which includes a choice of meat, veggies, broth, ramen or yumemizuho rice. Diners can opt for the Washugyu Brisket ($19.25), Chicken Breast ($9.99) or Black Pork ($12) lunch sets. With eight choices of meat to choose from, there’s surely something for everyone.
