Situated in the heart of Oahu’s luxurious Waikiki district, The Seaside Restaurant offers guests the perfect way to spend an evening: with a sumptuous dining experience.
“The Seaside experience is all about attentive service and simple, quality dishes,” says general manager Todd Vrooman. “Our menu is primarily designed to share with your loved ones, and as a result, our customers cannot help but connect with their party and share our punchy menu with one another.”
The lavish menu includes Braised Beef ($36), which is a slow-roasted chuck in a red wine sauce with a side of mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, a side of the truffle clam chowder ($9) which features truffle oil drizzle and shaved back truffle, and for dessert, the Aloha State Bakery Cheesecake ($9), which is a Japanese-style cheesecake served with strawberry compote and homemade whipped cream.
The Seaside also offers many different types of wine such as the Head High Pinot Noir ($16/glass), the Manoa Honey and Mead ($14/glass), and the house Riesling ($13/glass).
“First and foremost, we want our customers to taste the freshness and quality in every bite,” Vrooman says. “We want them to feel the fun-loving atmosphere we create and hope they will return for the entire experience again and again.”
Inspired by the oyster bars on the East and West coasts, the restaurant opened in August and is meant to serve as a place where people can enjoy “simple and delicious seafood dishes and an outstanding selection of wines,” according to Vrooman.
