Find unique decor, experiences at this eatery

Decadent desserts are found at Stage Restaurant.

Tucked inside Honolulu Design Center on Kapiolani Boulevard, a casual wine bar, Amuse, and a fine-dining experience, Stage Restaurant, await guests with an array of appealing wine options and alluring dishes.

“Amuse and Stage are design-forward spaces where all your senses will be heightened and enlightened,” says Julia Sørensen Shaw, creative director at INspiration Interiors, located within Honolulu Design Center.

Wine options

To start an eventful evening, stop by Amuse for a rotating selection of more than 50 wines from around the world — poured from fun, self-serve carousels. Pleasant palate-pleasing pupus are also available.

For an upscale, delectable dinner, continue into Stage Restaurant. Entrées include the Pan Roasted Maple Leaf Farm Duck Breast ($38) served alongside a butternut squash puree, Brussels sprouts and a balsamic reduction.

Weekly Stage specials have included the popular Beef Wellington (special price) and Lamb Chops (special price).

Frequent, in-house events feature the best of Stage Restaurant.

Ovation Wine Dinners, meanwhile, take place every last Tuesday of the month, with this month’s event falling on Jan. 31. A unique menu is presented by Stage’s distinguished culinary team and paired with wines selected by Sky Cameron of Chambers and Chambers Wine Merchants.

Tasting Thursdays are every second Thursday of the month, with this year starting on Feb. 9. The beverage-focused tasting experience is accompanied by family-style tapas.

“From the self-serve wine carousels, handcrafted cocktails, bold and flavorful food dishes to the whimsical interior design and dramatic art, diners are fully immersed in a dining dreamscape,” Shaw concludes.
