Just in time for all the upcoming holiday gatherings and get-togethers, Napoleon’s Bakery is rolling out delicious pies and an array of appropriately themed desserts that are sure to impress.
Pumpkin is utilized to perfection throughout the Napoleon’s Bakery line of featured items, which create a buzz around any autumnal celebration’s table as local families and friends gather to celebrate Thanksgiving.
“For 39 years, Napoleon’s Bakery has been a part of the Zippy’s family,” says Napoleon’s Bakery general manager Jan Tsukazaki. “We work hard to maintain our quality and consistency, our customers expect that, so we want to provide that. There is something about familiar things that bring joy and a warm feeling to our hearts and satisfies our soul. Much of our staff have been with us for many years and still provide that friendly, sincere, neighborly customer service. They know many of our customers by name and have watched children grow up who now bring their children in for a doughnut or a celebration cake. At Napoleon’s Bakery, you can get top-quality pastries, served with aloha.”
In addition to the traditional local favorite Pumpkin Pie ($14.35, available daily throughout the year), guests may indulge in “Flavors of the Month” including Pumpkin Chiffon Pie ($14.50, available through Nov. 27), which offers a tasty twist on the traditional pumpkin pie with a light and creamy texture, and the brand-new Holiday Spice Mochizada ($2.80 each, available through Nov. 27).
Napoleon’s Bakery also serves up Butter Rolls ($2.40 each, available Nov. 23-24) and the popular Pumpkin Bread Pudding ($2.40 per piece, available through Jan. 1). This special bread pudding features fall flavors of pumpkin puree and dried cranberries.
Napoleon’s Bakery is also rolling out its tantalizing Pumpkin Cheesecake ($23.95, available Nov. 18-24) and Pumpkin Coffee Cake Square ($2.65 each, available through Nov. 27), which offers the great taste of moist pumpkin cake accented with cream cheese filling.
Be sure to try the made-to-order Hot ‘n Fresh selections at Napoleon’s Bakery, including Malasadas ($4.05 for three pieces, $15.07 for a dozen). For large orders, call ahead to one’s favorite location, and feel free to order a dozen while dining in so the sweet treats are ready following one’s meal.
Those who prefer cakes over pies (or alongside them!) are in luck as Napoleon’s Bakery also offers a wide range of options available daily including Chantilly Cake ($26.45 for 8-inch cake, $17.85 for 6-inch cake), Dobash Cake ($18.95 for 8-inch cake, $12.85 for 6-inch cake) and Rainbow Cake ($26.45 for an 8-inch cake).
As a reminder, prices may vary by location.
“The fall season brings up all the warm spices that we associate with the start of the holidays,” Tsukazaki says. “Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, butter, cran berries and more gets us into the excitement of the season. Napoleon’s Bakery has created a line of favorites for customers to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas.
“New this year is our Holiday Spice Mochizada, which is already becoming a hit. Pumpkin Coffee Cake squares and Pumpkin Bread Pudding pair perfectly with coffee, any time of the day.”
