Just in time for the holiday season, Jade Dynasty Seafood Restaurant has crafted a can’t-miss holiday special set menu that is meant to be shared with family and friends. Jade Dynasty continues to impress its loyal customers by adding new menu items throughout the year, many of which are influenced by the cuisines of China and Hong Kong. The evolving menu keeps guests coming back to see what is in store as the heart-of-the-house creativity and stellar customer service “wows” diners with each visit.
Situated within Hookipa Terrace on the Ala Moana Center’s top level, Jade Dynasty serves up an award-winning dining experience in an inviting atmosphere featuring dark wood accents and intricately crafted chandeliers.
The family-friendly restaurant hosts up to 300 people, and diners are encouraged to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and special events in either the main dining room or one of the seven private dining areas.
Jade Dynasty managing partner Ave Kwok explains that for the Holiday Special menu ($445 for a table of 10, excluding tax and gratuity), the dishes were chosen to help bring family and friends together to enjoy the holiday season amid the hustle and bustle.
“We wanted to offer some of our best-selling dishes for our customers to enjoy, and this set menu is very balanced with great value,” Kwok says.
The celebratory menu is available Dec. 22-Jan. 8, and the Jade Dynasty team asks for at least one day’s notice to prepare the feast.
The meal starts off with Chilled Abalone and Garlic Cucumber as appetizers, followed by Crab Meat & Fish Maw Soup, which is traditionally served to mark special occasions. Roasted Peking Duck with Buns is a family favorite with its savory sauce, while Lobster with Ginger & Onion is served on a bed of noodles that signifies “prosperity year after year and good health and spirit.” The memorable meal continues with the bold flavors of Honey & Garlic Ribs as diners also indulge in the family-style presentation of Lettuce Wrap with Peking Duck Meat and Braised Shiitake Mushrooms with Shanghai Pak Choy. To end the meal on a sweet note, guests are treated to Mochi Rice in Lotus Wrap as well as Chilled Pearl Tapioca with Coconut Milk and Fruit for dessert.
A Holiday Special meal for five ($218, excluding tax and gratuity) is also available at Jade Dynasty with one day’s advance notice. This special meal deal features the aforementioned items with the addition of Golden Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic, which symbolizes good luck for the new year; this menu does not include the Roasted Peking Duck with Buns or Lettuce Wrap with Peking Duck Meat.
Jade Dynasty Seafood Restaurant is also known for its array of nearly 60 dim sum varieties served daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last seating at 4:30 p.m.
