Step inside Kalapawai Market in Kailua Town, Kailua Beach, Kapolei or Waimanalo and be greeted with a welcoming environment from sunrise to sunset.
“Whether it be a cup of coffee and muffin in the morning to a full-service dinner with a glass of wine in the evening, we continue to offer freshly made items, using quality products at a reasonable price,” says operations manager Kat Moon.
Wondering what to order off the menu with so many mouthwatering options? At the Waimanalo and Kapolei locations, the Poke Nachos ($18) are a great place to start as an appetizer. Won ton chips are covered with the fantastic flavors of spicy ahi, avocado, kimchi, wasabi aioli, kabayaki sauce, togarashi and pickled ginger.
For an entrée, the Auction Fresh Fish ($28) is the signature dish at all three Kalapawai Cafés in Kailua Town, Kapolei and Waimanalo. The house favorite fish is served alongside a lemongrass risotto with braised kale, local mushrooms, micro cilantro and a red curry aioli, or guests can also enjoy a fresh Fattoush salad with saffron aioli as an alternative.
A popular lunch and dinner option is Da Aina ($16), a meatless Beyond Burger on a brioche bun topped with arugula, avocado and house-spiced tomato jam. French fries are served hot to complement the ono vegan burger.
From live music on Sunday evenings in Waimanalo to Kalapawai Wine Club dinners in Kapolei, Kalapawai Market serves fresh food and fun for everyone.
