Overlooking the beautiful waters of Waikiki Beach, the tropical restaurant Hula Grill Waikiki is known for providing a family-friendly experience for Oahu’s people through fresh and fun entrées.
“Hula Grill combines Hawaii Regional Cuisine with stunning ocean views,” says general manager Michelle Whitton. “Our menus are chef driven, featuring fresh fish and locally sourced ingredients, following the farm-to-table movement.”
Some of the restaurant’s dishes include the Lobster Mac and Cheese ($23), which boasts lobster meat, lobster bechamel sauce and Parmesan cheese mixed with ballerina pasta. The Ginger Pesto Fresh Catch ($43) highlights fresh fish topped with ginger pesto placed over Chinatown dry chow mein noodles, stir-fried alii mushrooms, baby carrots and bok choy — finished with a ponzu beurre blanc sauce. Finally, there’s the Tomahawk Steak ($110), which is a 32-ounce beef rib chop served with three sauces of truffle bearnaise, green peppercorn demi-glace and chimichurri, and is plated alongside risotto and fresh vegetables.
The restaurant also offers open-air seating surrounded by a relaxing, tropical theme. “We take a lot of pride in making sure our guests are well looked after and made to feel comfortable in our home,” Whitton says. “We want them to feel like family.”
