Founded in 1949 in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture, Kamitoku Ramen traveled across the Pacific Ocean in 2014 to Hawaii, where the eatery gifted the state gyukotsu, also known as beef bone broth. Now, the 70-year-old Japanese eatery is offering a 15% discount on all its dishes at the Honolulu location. Valid until Sept. 30, the coupon is acceptable for dine-in orders only and is perfect for delicious entrées including Beefy Shoyu Ramen, Beefy Miso Ramen, and Beefy Tan Tan made with spicy sesame broth and beef broth ramen — all featuring noodles from Sun Noodle.
The restaurant’s coupon can be found in Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Dining Out section and must be presented at the time of purchase. The offer can’t be combined with any other discounts or coupons.
The only gyukotsu ramen restaurant in the state, Kamitoku Ramen also offers sides of fried gobo, takoyaki, roast beef charsui, and desserts of mochi and regular ice cream.
