7-Eleven Hawaii is proud to present a made-from-scratch, restaurant-quality Shrimp Alfredo Ube Pasta ($6.19 Oahu; $7.59 neighbor islands).
Conveniently found in the cold cases or warmed in the grab-and-go section at all 65 7-Eleven Hawaii locations statewide, this filling and hearty meal will “make you feel cozy and satisfied — like you’ve eaten a restaurant meal that you didn’t have to cook!” says Debbie Lee Soon, food innovation and development manager at 7-Eleven Hawaii.
“The ube pasta is made from scratch in Kapolei, exclusively for 7-Eleven Hawaii,” explains Soon. “All the ingredients were carefully picked down to the flour to ensure optimal texture, elasticity and quality.
“The ube flavoring gives the pasta a bright purple color, and the fresh pasta is topped with our classic mushroom Alfredo cream sauce and shrimp,” Soon continues.
After successfully selling made-from-scratch ramen for over a year, 7-Eleven Hawaii decided to expand and elevate the pasta selection by adding ube pasta.
“Fresh pasta texture is more delicate than dry pasta, so we decided to use a slightly wider flat noodle that pairs well and holds on to the rich cream sauce,” Soon elaborates.
Stop by a local 7-Eleven Hawaii to discover not only the beautiful and filling ube pasta but also other iconic flavors, such as Spam Musubi, Slurpee and Big Gulp, and a wide variety of local snacks, premium wines and fresh foods.
“Our customers know that when they visit 7-Eleven Hawaii, they can conveniently fuel themselves with our made-fresh-daily foods at an affordable cost,” Soon concludes.
