Get ready to be greeted with aloha and your favorite local comfort foods as you enter HanaPaa Market, located in Koko Marina Shopping Center.Whether you’re heading out to the beach with friends, barbecuing with the ohana or just enjoying a night in, HanaPaa Market is ready to “hook you up.”
“As a small business, we know you have many options, and we pride ourselves in keeping our dishes traditional as well as some with a modern twist,” says owner Keoni Luka.
Start off your meal with the Cold Tofu ($8), which is accompanied with a sweet garlic sauce and a rich ginger scallion with garlic chips. The Creamy Spicy Mayo Poke Bowl ($16-$19, price ranges with add-ons) is served with sushi rice, avocado, unagi, tobiko and garlic granulates. Meanwhile, the refreshing Seared Ahi HanaPaa Salad ($20) boasts crispy wonton chips, sesame sprouts, bell peppers and roasted sesame dressing. Another customer favorite is the Spicy Ahi Sandwich ($13), served on either country Hawaiian or wheat bread. Upgrade it to a combo, which includes a bag of chips, potato salad, greens and a fountain soda.
While enjoying these tasty dishes and more, customers also have the opportunity to help out the community until the end of August. HanaPaa Market is proud to collaborate with Koko Marina Shopping Center’s Hawaii Foodbank collection drive and is offering patrons a $5 gift card (to be used at a future visit) when spending $15 and donating a canned food item.
“Koko Marina Center has been hosting the Hawaii Foodbank for over 20 years, and when we were given the opportunity to be a part of such a long tradition in Hawaii Kai, we knew this is something we wanted to do,” says Luka. “At HanaPaa Market,we are proudly local and support island fisherman and small businesses, so being able to give back to a foundation that provides to so many families and kamaaina was so rewarding for us.”
