Overlooking the beautiful backdrop of ocean and sun inside Trump International Hotel Waikiki, Waiolu Ocean Cuisine offers guests a unique dining experience with its specialty cocktails and romantic setting. Now, executive chef Joseph Rose is introducing some new items to the restaurant’s lunch menu which are sure to entice visitors and locals alike.
“For lunch we offer things that are on the lighter side and make it quick if you are short on time,” Rose says. “Or you can come in and relax, take your time, enjoy the food, views, and the service.”
The new menu will feature many popular dishes such as the Sesame Tuna Tataki ($20) with sweet ginger dressing, chile oil, daikon, yuzu aioli and pickled onion; the Lobster and Shrimp Roll ($34), featuring lobster meat and poached shrimp with celery, lemon mayo and parsley on a lightly toasted New England bun; and the Chirashi Bowl ($34) with sushi rice, assorted fresh sashimi, salmon roe, avocado, edamame and namasu cucumber.
Other new dishes include the Ahi Poke Nachos ($21), Grilled Fish Sandwich ($24), Kalbi Ramen ($26), Steamed Edamame ($14), and BeachWalk Fries ($18). Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with menu changes every few months, so be sure to stop by before these delicious dishes disappear.
