Pick up a tasty treat from Hawaiian Chip Company, which has been serving the community since 1999. Located in Kalihi, the shop is currently offering some delicious Boy’s Day specials to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

Its Boy’s Day Fish & Chips ($12) includes a handmade Hawaiian koi ornament paired with taro chips, while the Boy’s Day Chips with Bow & Tag ($4.50) contains taro and sweet potato chips.

Boy’s Day Chocolate & Koi ($16)

Being that Hawaiian Chip Company and Menehune Mac share a retail store, guests are in for goodies galore. Its Menehune Mac offerings include Boy’s Day Chocolates ($8.50), which include six assorted Menehune Mac Chocolates, and the Boy’s Day Chocolate & Koi ($16), which consists of six pieces of chocolate plus a handmade Hawaiian koi ornament.

Act fast, because its Boy’s Day specials are available now, while supplies last.

“We feature an array of made in Hawaii products from local manufactures,” says retail sales manager Susan Morita. “The highlight of our store is the made-to-order taro and purple Okinawan potato chips.

“We also have a wide selection of omiyage,” Morita continues. “Various flavors and sizes of packaged Taro and Potato chips, Taro Party Mix, Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chunky Cookies, Macadamia Nut Okoshi (and) Menehune Mac handmade chocolates.”

The company’s chips come lightly salted in various flavors such as Zesty Garlic, Sweet Onion, Adobo, Kilauea Fire and more.
