Asian Mix continues to serve up a multitude of tastes and flavors from around the Pacific Rim coupled with speedy, stellar customer service.
Diners count on the convenience of a fast-food restaurant, while not having to sacrifice quality as meals are prepared to order with fresh ingredients by skilled chefs.
Situated conveniently at the corner of Beretania and Piikoi Streets on the ground level below Safeway, Asian Mix offers quality menu items with plentiful portions at affordable prices for takeout and catering orders.
Owner Daniel Leung explains that the restaurant’s most popular dishes are influenced by Northern Chinese cooking styles, while Pacific Rim flavors stand out with bold flavor profiles. Roast Duck Hong Kong Style ($33/ whole, $16.50/half) is meticulously prepared to ensure excess fat cooks off and the special seasoning combination is locked in.
Guests rave about Roasted Duck with Noodle Funn in Soup ($12.95), which is prepared in a chicken broth-based soup and offers diners the flexibility of substituting saimin if they prefer skinnier noodles instead. Pork Chop with Salt and Pepper ($11.95) is another popular item, as Leung explains that customers appreciate the bold flavors and hearty portion of pork in this top-selling item.
“We have plenty of free parking, and guests can pick something up before they get on the freeway to go home, or head back through town,” says Leung. “We believe that we’re the most reasonable place in town and offer excellent portions. You won’t be disappointed.”
