From steaks to pork chops and even seafood pasta, Sansei Seafood and Sushi Bar reminds local diners that the restaurant offers much more than its signature sushi varieties.
Guests can reel in the flavor with Fresh Hawaiian Ahi Carpaccio ($17.95), which is garnished with chopped peanuts and accented with a Thai chile vinaigrette. Nobu-Style Miso Butterfish ($24.95) is marinated and roasted in sake and sweet miso before being served with yukari nigiri and cucumber sunomono.
Sansei diners rave about Shichimi Spice Seared Salmon ($32.95) accompanied by fresh shiitake mushrooms, asparagus and a soy butter sauce served with a side of rice.
“We are best known for our delicious sushi, but we have so much more than that!” says general manager Eileen Bailey-Marchan. “We are a casual family-style restaurant, but there’s nothing casual about our food.”
Sansei offers an Early Bird Special every Sunday and Monday (unless it’s a holiday) from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
Guests are reminded that there are no reservations for this special (first come, first served), as diners can take 50% off the majority of the menu.
The Sansei team recommends guests come as early as 4:30 p.m. to stand in line for the unbelievable deals.
