Waiahole Poi Factory’s goal is “to create a place were traditions and cuisine of genuine Hawaii could be preserved and shared,” a legacy that still continues today after transforming its grounds to a full-time homemade Hawaiian food and hand-pounded poi restaurant in 2009.
The establishment, lives by the motto “hanai ike ai hanai ike aloha,” its essence translated as “to nourish with food, to nourish with love.”
From now until Feb. 28, patrons will receive a free haupia dessert or haupia ice cream by purchasing any of the restaurant’s ono Combo Plates ($14). Choices include laulau kalua pig, squid and beef luau, and more. They come with rice or poi, lomi salmon and haupia.
To accompany your meal, try any of the eatery’s refreshing drinks including mamaki tea, limeade or awa. Diners can also receive $2 off the establishment’s signature dessert Sweet Lady of Waiahole that comes with warm kulolo and haupia ice cream.
Customers must present the coupon found here in Dining Out to utilize this offer, and it’s important to note that it is one coupon per person. Takeout is available.
