Whether you’re feeling reminiscent about that delicious katsu meal you once had in Japan, or long to visit but are restricted due to the pandemic, fear no more because KOROMO katsu & curry bistro is here to cure that nostalgia and satiate your cravings. KOROMO has been using all fresh ingredients and ensuring quality meals, as everything is made to order, since it first opened February of 2020.
“Our guests like the freshness of our meat and seafood,” says general manager Nelia Solano. “I often hear comments from guests that when they eat our food, it takes them back to when they were in Japan.”
Try the Kaki Fry & Pork Loin Katsu Teishoku ($22.75), which comes with two pieces of fresh oyster and premium “sakura” pork loin paired with katsu and remoulade sauces. All teishoku items are served with KOROMO’s famous thinly sliced cabbage, kimchi, tsukemono, and your choice of fresh white or brown rice. Winter is coming, and what better meal to warm you up than KOROMO’s Ebi Fry Curry ($17.50), served with three pieces of ebi fry smothered in rich and savory curry sauce, and topped with fuku-jin-zuke pickles over rice.
To accommodate more room for its dine-in customers, KOROMO opened its new exterior seating this past August, allowing patrons to now enjoy its mouthwatering Chicken Katsu Sando ($9.75) outside.
Finally, don’t forget to join the KOROMO E-Club to stay on top of news, such as additional menu items being added this November, and for more exclusive offers and deals.
