It’s clear from where Asian Mix gets its name: there’s an eclectic mix of dishes on its takeout menu that you can try, depending on your moods and cravings. Thinking Chinese? Swing by to pick up some cold ginger chicken. Japanese? There’s miso ramen. Each dish tastes authentic and fresh, and there’s even an impressive roast meat station.
Customers are a fan of dishes like the Singapore Style Rice Noodle, which is served with a mild curry. It’s a filling meal with plenty of flavor with each bite, and at an affordable price of $9.50, the portions are remarkably generous and shareable. The Rice Plates ($11.95) offers a heaping portion of white rice and two choices of meats from the roasting station: char siu pork, barbecue spare ribs, ginger chicken, roasted pork or roasted duck.
The Won Ton Noodle Soup ($8.95) have also been a long-time popular choice among Asian Mix’s fans. Each won ton is packed with shrimp and pork and when served with the slurp-able, slightly chewy noodles and an addictive broth, the combination is hard to beat.
“These three dishes are probably in our customers’ top favorites,” says owner Daniel Leung.
In regards to the government vaccine mandate for restaurants, Leung says, “Asian Mix is a takeout restaurant, so there is no requirement for customers to show vaccines. In fact, you can just call in the order and wait outside and the staff will conveniently bring out your food to you.”
