Shaking Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef tenderloin
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • ½ tablespoon chopped ginger
  • ½ Teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2.5 tablespoons vegetable oil

DIPPING SAUCE

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoons lemon or lime Juice
  • 1 tablespoon fish Sauce
  • ½ tablespoon chopped garlic
  • ¼ tablespoon Sambal
  • 1 tablespoons water

SERVE ON SIDE

  • 1 head Lettuce
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 10 slices cucumber
  • fresh cilantro,

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients together, except vegetable oil. And let it marinated for half hour.
  2. In small bowl, combine all the dipping sauce ingredient together and mix until all sugar dissolve, set aside “
  3. On a platter, arrange the lettuce, cucumber, tomato and cilantro.
  4. Preheat a large wok or skillet over high heat, then add the vegetable oil. When the oil is shimmering, swirl the oil around in the pan. Add the beef cubes and sear on all sides, shaking the pan, until the meat is slightly charred and medium rare, 3-5 minutes. “
  5. Arrange the beef on the platter next to the lettuce, don’t put the beef on the vegetables.
  6. Wrap a piece of beef, cucumber, tomato, and cilantro with lettuce and dipping in the sauce Perfect with a bowl of rice, enjoy..”
