Dive into these downright delectable delights

Tan Tan Ramen ($11.25)

Ramen-Ya has earned oodles of accolades for pleasing patrons with hefty portions of its delectable, fresh food. For example, the Combo Set ($12.25) is the most popular item with super value, and it’s a great way to sample Ramen-Ya’s best. For example, Combo Set A comes with a bowl of ramen, four pieces of gyoza and one choice of mini fried rice, chicken katsu, Spam katsu, mochiko chicken or beef curry. All combo sets are complemented with the eatery’s freshly made gyoza. Ramen-Ya’s Japanese-style curry is not too strong. In fact, it is mild with a little fruity flavor, a taste that customers crave.

Meanwhile, Tan Tan Ramen ($11.25) has become a popular dish in Asia and now in America, and some people become clearly addicted to it. It consists of a more creamy, nutty broth and is at the same time salty/sweet, rich and spicy, totally full of flavor. It’s perfect especially for those cold winter days, as it will warm up your body.

“We thank our loyal customer base for their support and vote of confidence for the past 11 years as ‘Hawaii’s Best Ramen.’ Our key to success is that our menu offers great value. Our scrumptious food is prepared fresh daily, which starts with the broth cooked at least 10 hours a day with pork bone, chicken and vegetables,” says president Dorothy Lee.

Lee emphasizes that since early June, the company has re-opened all of its six locations for both takeout and dine-in services (Hawaii Kai Towne Center, Moanalua Shopping Center, Pearl City Gateway, Kapolei Commons, Ewa Beach Town Center, as well as the flagship store in Kahului on Maui at Queen Kaahumanu Center). Laniakea Plaza location has takeout only.

“We are fully sanitized and committed to follow all government and CDC guidelines,” Lee explains.

“Summing it all up, our menu has a great selection from famous daily-made fresh gyoza, fried rice, mochiko chicken, chicken katsu, Japanese-style beef curry, etc. These are all sure to satisfy your taste buds, from keiki to kupuna. We also offer party pans and gift certificates,” Lee shares.

“In these pandemic times, let Ramen-Ya be your ‘second kitchen.’ Simply call in your order for pickup or relax in our dining room at your nearby Ramen-Ya location,” she adds.
