The same pastry recipes that launched Napoleon’s Bakery to local — and even international — fame nearly four decades ago continue to delight customers of all ages, which is good news as the holidays quickly approach. And, with a Napoleon’s Bakery inside of every Zippy’s, you’re sure to find a location near you for easy ordering and pickup.
“The founders of the company, Charlie and Frances Higa, wanted their customers to be able to bring home a meal and also have dessert to bring with them,” shares Kris Campbell, bakery development and implementation manager. “Not being able to find good-quality pastries, they decided to make their own. Now, 37 years later, we are still here, making quality cakes and pastries for local families and visitors.”
No fall celebration would be complete without pumpkin, which is why the esteemed bakery is happy to announce its lineup of in spired flavors in the Pumpkin Pie ($11.75), Pumpkin Cheesecake ($19.95) and Pumpkin Chiffon Pie ($11.75). All three are available starting Nov. 23, while supplies last. And, please note that prices for all goodies mentioned here may vary depending on the location you visit.
“All of these items we make from scratch and are very popular with our guests,” adds Campbell. “We try to offer items that our customers like and give us feedback on.
“We use quality ingredients,” she continues. “We have our local favorites and always keep our customers’ tastes in mind.”
So favored are the trio of pies that Napoleon’s also has some special sweets on the menu for a limited time. The Pumpkin Coffee Cake Square ($2 each) is available through Nov. 30, while the Pumpkin Bread Pudding ($2 each; $29.50 pan) can be purchased through Dec. 31.
Ordering is simple, too. Call it in to the location closest to you, choose your dishes online at zippys.com or download the Zippy’s mobile app.
Even after the holidays, though, Napoleon’s Bakery will always have the perfect sweet addition to any celebration, but in the meantime, go get one (or more) of the Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Chiffon Pie — you won’t regret it.
“From all of us at Napoleon’s Bakery and Zippy’s, we wish everyone an enjoyable, relaxing and safe Thanksgiving,” Campbell concludes. “Continue to wear your mask, keep your distance, wash your hands and give thanks for the blessings we have.”
