Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Little Village Noodle House has persevered under the leadership of owner/operator David Chang. And while hard work definitely plays a part in the restaurant’s success, Chang credits much of it to his customers.
It’s why he has made the choice to continue operations, in the hopes of serving up Chinese comfort food favorites to those who have grown to love the Smith Street eatery.
Though Chang can’t serve the entire menu regularly right now, he does encourage patrons to call in for special items and to place a takeout order.
“Just call beforehand, and we can prepare the traditional dishes they’re asking for,” he shares. “This can be some things they’re familiar with or something they really wanted that we took off the menu.”
While the menu is streamlined right now, the famous Honey Walnut Shrimp ($18.50) remains a tried-and-true icon that’s perfect for a repeat customer or first-timer.
