For hungry diners around the state, takeout is key for the time being, so Cinnamon’s Restaurant in Kailua is continuously improving on its process.
Now, guests can opt for online ordering and payment — instead of just phone-in requests, though those are still welcome, too — and enjoy curbside pickup or delivery. In addition, president and owner Norman “Puna” Nam highlights the restaurant’s upgraded takeout containers that are biodegradable and lock tight for leak-proof transportation. But, really, you came here for the actual food, and Cinnamon’s has got its customers covered with weekly and pop-up specials for a change of pace that’ll tantalize the taste buds.
From breakfast-style meat and eggs to omelettes just the way you like them, to signature pancakes and lighter fare, Cinnamon’s covers its bases with fresh dishes that celebrate the most important meal of the day (or night, Thursday through Saturday).
“As with all businesses, this current and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is the most serious and challenging crisis Cinnamon’s has had to deal with in its 35 years,” shares Nam.
While keeping up in the kitchen to serve up fantastic home-cooked meals, restaurant staff is also constantly hard at work sanitizing work areas and all surfaces. Because more than whipping up great food, Cinnamon’s wants to make sure everyone who walks through its doors remains safe and healthy.
“Cinnamon’s really cares about our loyal customer base and staff,” says Nam. “Their safety and well-being is our top priority.”
