Koko Marina Center and its food-centric tenants are open for takeout and limited sit-down options, and all invite hungry families to stop in for good eats.
“We are open for business, but please practice social distancing and wear a mask when shopping and dining,” urges director of marketing Krysti Peacock. “However, with the rapidly changing situation, it is best to call to confirm before dining.”
Noteworthy is Harbor Village Cuisine, which has set up outdoor eating areas and restarted its dine-in service in addition to its ongoing terrific takeout service. Diners can receive 10 percent off before 3 p.m., and $10 gift certificates will be given out for every $50 spent after 3 p.m. Call the restaurant at 395-2311 for details and updated hours.
Over at Taco Bell, takeout and drive-thru ordering is available, as is delivery through Uber Eats. Families can take advantage of specials that include the 12 Pack Tacos and Taco Burrito Cravings Pack.
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers also has some family packs that include its famous burgers and chicken tenders. Look for the Beach Pack with four burgers, fries for four and drinks, as well as an all-new kids meal. Socially spaced dining in is set up indoors, and phone orders (394-9100), delivery and curb side pickup are all still options for those who want the islands’ best burgers.
Moena Café (moenacafe.com) and Moena Sweets (moenasweets.com) have opened for dine-in, and still offers takeout for everyone seeking a sweet ending to any meal. The café also has delivery through Bite Squad for homebodies who want to stay in and enjoy.
Finally, Kona Brewing Co. offers delivery with a $20 minimum order for households from Hawaii Kai all the way to McCully. Take advantage of this deal Wednesdays-Sundays. Also, the restaurant has been approved to deliver packaged beer when included with a food order, so grab your favorite brew to go along with your local-style eats. Call 396-5662 for updated hours.
The center is also hosting its craft fair, sidewalk sale and farmers market every third Saturday of the month, and the next one is coming up Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Joining a number of retail and service tenants will be Sun Farm Hawaii, which will be selling aquaponics lettuce, live herb baskets, mangoes, papayas, veggies, farm fresh eggs, goat cheese and more.
