Brick Oven Pizza does classic pies right.
Since 1977, Kauai has been home to Brick Oven Pizza, a spectacular joint that serves up great pies and the famous original Super Pizza.
The family-owned and -operated eatery grew in popularity and launched three more restaurants on Oahu. All locations are now open for dine-in and are still pumping out takeout orders, with delivery available through Bite Squad and Uber Eats.
Popular on the menu — aside from the Super Pizza — are the $10 DIY kits that come with a 9-ounce white dough ball, 4 ounces of Mozzarella cheese and choice of topping. Cooking instructions are included, too, so there’s no need to worry about messing up your homemade pie.
The eatery’s happy hour craft cocktails are calling.
Aside from great-tasting pizzas, the biz has a daily happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. (except the Ward location, only on Saturday and Sunday) that features $10 Heineken and Pacifico pitchers, $12 Bud Light pitchers, $2 off pints, $1 off bottles and cans, and so much more — including $2 of appetizers (excluding the oysters and pupu pizza).
