ANNE LEE Morton’s The Steakhouse general manager ZYRON SCHONIWITZ
Fans of quality meats and seafood have flocked to Morton’s The Steakhouse at Ala Moana Center for decades now, and continue to do so — for takeout, of course. From premium steaks to desserts and DIY kits, the restaurant is making sure everyone can have a little bit of Morton’s whenever the craving hits. And don’t worry, wines are also available for takeout, too.
This week, general manager Zyron Schoniwitz shares how diners can still enjoy a bit of Morton’s The Steakhouse at home.
AL: What types of takeout offerings are available?
ZS: We have a diverse takeout menu including fresh seafood selections, USDA prime-aged steaks, family-style sides, desserts and rotating weekly specials. Additionally, Mor ton’s is offering “Chef’s Table” Home Kits, which provide guests with everything they need to cook a delicious family feast at home.
AL: How did you create this concept and what kind of feedback have you received from your patrons?
ZS: We simply adapted operations for our guests to enjoy Morton’s signature dishes in the comfort of their homes. Some guests enjoy cooking and make it a fun interactive activity, while others prefer a traditional take-out experience. We have received great feedback overall, but know many of our loyal patrons are looking forward to visiting our dining room again soon.
AL: Morton’s is known for its stellar wines. Can you tell us if these are also available for purchase?
ZS: With the purchase of food, guests can continue to enjoy Morton’s curated wine collection at home. Our wine selections are currently 50 percent off.
AL: What is the main goal of Morton’s?
ZS: Our mission is to always exceed our guests’ expectations.
AL: With businesses starting to slowly reopen, what is in store for Morton’s?
ZS: At Morton’s, the safety of our guests and employees remains our top priority. We continue to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations, and look forward to safely welcoming patrons back into our dining rooms when the time allows.
AL: How can readers stay updated on what is available for takeout?
