While Hawaii waits for businesses to reopen, Dining Out rounded up three of the most popular items on Leeward Bowl’s takeout menu. And a special drive-thru service is available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Call 456-4488 to find out more. Now, for your favorite part — the food!
Leeward Bowl’s Dynamite Chicken ($11.75) features a hearty helping of mochiko chicken topped with Leeward Bowl’s specialty citrus aioli and furikake.
Those seeking heartier fare can opt for a half-pound Wagyu Burger with Tempura Fries ($12.50).
The patty is grilled with smoked sea salt and cooked to your liking, and the thick-cut fries are the perfect complement to the American classic.
Fans of pork belly can have it lechon-style ($12.50) in Leeward Bowl’s rendition. Pork belly is boiled until tender and then deep fried for that oh-so-crispy coating you know and love. It comes topped with crunchy veggies and is served with a vinegar sauce that cuts through the pork fat.
“We use quality protein and fish,” Maduli assures of all the eatery’s dishes.
There’s so much more on the menu, and items rotate every week so you’re sure to find something to your liking whenever you stop in.
