A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS WEEK’S HOUSE SPECIAL: MW TO-GO MENU
Ordering takeout is the latest mandate and MW Restaurant has you covered. Like many of Hawaii’s restaurants, MW is staying on its toes to better serve hungry patrons. There are now an abundance of new to-go offerings that include individual meals, family-style dishes, sides, desserts and MW Market offerings.
Some new items to satisfy customers’ appetites are Mountain View Farms Mochi Crusted Fish ($18), Seafood Penne Pasta with Kauai Shrimp and Kona Abalone ($18), Steamed Fish Chinese Style ($18), Miso Honey Glazed Butterfish ($18) and many desserts to choose from for $5 each.
The restaurant first opened in 2013 and has been satisfying Hawaii patrons since.
Its namesake comes from the wife-and-husband team Michelle Karr-Ueoka and Wade Ueoka. With the goal to help local farmers, the restaurant also has MW Market items for sale by the pound.
The new to-go options are available Sunday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and customers are encouraged to call or email in advance to place their orders.
Additionally, a drive-thru option is accessible to pick up orders. Pre-payment over the phone is required, and MW Restaurant asks that customers provide the make, model and color of their vehicle.
The restaurant is now offering delivery services for phone orders of at least $50 (pre-payment is required), with a delivery charge of $5 for deliveries within 3 miles and $10 for deliveries within 5 miles.
