The iconic flavors from the East and Westflavorful converge in the middle of the Pacific at Rocky Japanese Steak Teppan Restaurant, and local diners benefit big time as menu items are paired with a memorable setting and stellar customer service. After all, why just have a meal when you can make a memory?
Rocky Japanese Steak Teppan Restaurant offers up a perfect pau hana opportunity nightly from 5 to 7 p.m. on the lanai featuring 50 percent off drinks and specially priced appetizers, and serves up a sensational setting for those looking to enjoy the Friday night fireworks show just off Waikiki Beach.
The eatery is named for restaurateur Rocky Aoki, an adventurous hot air balloonist, backgammon champion and Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee who introduced the concept of “entertainment dining” to the masses with the integration of flashy Japanese-style teppan cooking. For five decades, diners from here on the islands and around the world have come to enjoy the unique dining experience available at Rocky’s, which was formerly known as Benihana at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
“We’ve been here for almost 50 years, and while we’ve re-branded, diners can still count on us for our delicious menu items and excellent service — we treat you like part of the family,” says general manager Adrian De Silva. “We’re focused on adding more fresh ingredients throughout our menu in the coming months, including in our delicious cocktails, and that will add another dimension of flavor for guests to enjoy.”
