The Thanksgiving Special 6-Courses Set will be served Thursday, Nov. 28 to Sunday Dec. 1. (Three days’ advance notice is required for both dine-in and take-out meals.)
At $338 for a table of 10, the fabulous six-course menu begins with Golden Fried Shrimp Balls (deep-fried shrimp mousse with sweet and sour dipping sauce). Next is a Deep-Fried Whole Fish with Sweet & Sour Sauce, quick-fried and topped with sweet and sour sauce.
Just a few items in the 2019 Thanksgiving Special ($338)
The Roasted Turkey, a 12-14 lb. bird, is seasoned with red bean curds and Chinese spices, and served with the Chef’s Special Sauce. Sweet Potato Greens is a wonderfully healthy dish consisting of the sauteed tender tips of sweet potatoes with whole garlic.
Pumpkin Mochi Fried Rice consists of stir-fried mochi rice with Chinese sausage and pumpkin. “You can have a savory taste and sweet taste in one bite,” says general manager Gary Chan. “It’s my personal favorite.”
Last but not least, a dessert worthy of this magnificent meal: Pumpkin Mochi — hand-made deep-fried lotus paste with a pumpkin-flavored wrap.
If you’d like a smaller meal, Jade Dynasty offers a set for takeout only, at $198. It includes a 12to 14-pound Roasted Turkey, Poached Kahuku Shrimps, and Pumpkin Mochi Fried Rice.
