The Big Apple’s diverse food scene, heavily influenced by immigrants from around the world, offers celebrated bites at every turn. Though the cheesecake wasn’t invented in New York
City, it was reinvented as a now-iconic dessert, the New York Cheesecake. Dense and creamy, typically comprised of a heavy cream or sour cream base, the New York Cheesecake is must-try in its city of origin.
