A meal at Cinnamon’s at the Ilikai is always delightful, but on Father’s Day, the bar is raised delectably with three very special menus, designed just for hungry dads (and their hungry families, too).
Let’s start with breakfast. The mouthwatering list of specials, served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., includes treats like Red Wine Stew Omelet ($15.95), and Fresh Fish Breakfast ($16.95). For kids of all ages, there’s Oreo Cookie French Toast ($9.75).
Cinnamon’s Breakfast Brunch, served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., features a carving station with Prime Rib and Boneless Lamb, an omelete station, and a lovely assortment of favorite dishes, including Fresh Baked Salmon with Garlic Butter, Baked Chicken with Orange Glaze, Roast Pork with Red Wine Mushroom Sauce, and Garlic Shrimp over Pasta with Parmesan.
A salad bar loaded with fresh offerings and a dessert table with mini cheesecakes, brownies, and bread pudding provide satisfying balance to this feast for fathers and families. Cost for adults is $39.95; $34.95 for children and seniors.
Served from 5 to 9 p.m., the Dinner Buffet, priced at $42.95 for adults ($37.95 for keiki and seniors), largely reprises the Brunch menu, adding a trio of seasoning options for the Prime Rib, as well as sauteed mushrooms, rice and wild rice, vegetables and garlic roasted red potatoes to the offerings.
“With the selection we have available, I think this is one of the best Father’s Day menus in town,” says owner Puna Nam. “It’ll be something the whole family can enjoy.”
