The friendly staff of New Eagle Cafe welcomes customers with the finest comfort foods. This beloved local eatery is located at Nimitz Center within a bustling industrial and commercial area.
Led by owner Tae Im, this cozy establishment offers patrons a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, seven days a week.
Hungry families, workers and others from all over Oahu visit the eatery continuously for an array of menu dishes — ranging from island-style local favorites and Asian cuisine to hearty classic American meals at affordable prices.
Server Maria Dona, who has worked at New Eagle Cafe for many years, shares that one dish admired by customers is the Hawaiian Chopped Steak ($16).
This menu item arrives on the table on a sizzling hot platter with pieces of tender steak, combined with a mix of onions, bell peppers, celery and tomatoes.
Another meaty selection at the restaurant is the Prime Rib Sandwich ($15.95).
This features juicy slices of prime rib inside slices of fresh bread. Soup of the day and a dipping sauce of au jus accompany the sandwich.
A third filling choice is the Beef Liver ($17), which is accompanied by sliced onions and crispy bacon.
Select entree choices such as this flavorful liver are served with a choice of french fries, mashed potatoes, white or brown rice, or mashed potatoes, and hot vegetables.
