Hoy Tin Kitchen dazzles its customers with tasty food, and plenty of it, at extremely reasonable prices. Check out Singapore Rice Noodles, a plate piled high with noodles, shrimp, sliced pork, bean sprouts, onions and cabbage flavored with plenty of curry. It’s an incredible bargain at $8.99, and even more at the current special price of $8.50.
Comforting and satisfying, Jook ($6.99, additional $1 for meat or $2 for seafood or beef) is a simple Chinese comfort food that is simply delicious.
“We cook the rice for a long time,” says manager Janet Chan, who adds it is also great for those feeling under the weather as “it’s easy to digest and it has a lot of nutrition.”
The plain jook is made with a bit of salt and ginger for flvor. Guests can enjoy the jook with boneless chicken or pork for just $7.99, or ˛sh ˛llet, beef or seafood (˛ sh, squid and shrimp) for $8.99.
