Now that the Year of the Pig has arrived on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, diners at Canton Seafood Restaurant can look forward to a year of prosperity, joy and friendship.
By offering a diverse menu, and a clean, warm atmosphere that invites guests to dine in comfort, Canton Seafood Restaurant is a must-try culinary destination within the bustling Keeaumoku corridor. Manager He Gong explains that the eatery’s Cantonese cuisine draws influence from the southern region of China and features healthy preparation techniques coupled with fresh ingredients.
Braised Pork Belly ($13.99 regular, $12.99 special) was recently added to the Canton Seafood Restaurant menu to coincide with the Year of the Pig.
“In China, pork belly (kau yuk) is very popular, and ours is served on a bed of baby bok choy,” says Gong. “Our chef is very concerned with the continuity and quality of our food to ensure freshness in the various meats and vegetables.”
Live Lobster ($19.99 regular, $14.99 special with purchase of a regularly priced entree) is an incredible deal as customers may choose their favorite sauce to accompany the crustacean. The lobster can be seasoned with ginger and green onion, black bean sauce, salt and pepper, or butter and garlic.
Singapore Rice Noodle ($8.99 regular, $7.99 special) is a popular choice that features a stir-fried array of shrimp, barbecue pork, bean sprouts, bell peppers and onions. The dish has a kick to it, but can be prepared “country style” without the curry if guests prefer.
As a special scoop for Dining Out readers, diners may enjoy Canton Crispy Chicken (half) for just $4.99 with the purchase of a regularly priced entree. Guests can also look forward to an array of lunch specials served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., available daily that start at just $7.99.
What’s more, Canton Seafood Restaurant offers a diverse catering menu — an ideal option for family parties, work functions or tailgate events. Diners may also reserve the restaurant for parties of up to 140 people. Call 955-3388 for more information and to inquire about special group menus.
