This month, M.A.C. 24/7 has more reasons than ever to put smiles on the faces of hungry patrons, as it recently added 10 new dishes to its large menu filled with beloved gourmet comfort food.
Mark Turina, marketing coordinator at Hilton Waikiki Beach, explains the Kuhio Avenue eatery’s “fresh local flavors combine with generous portions, stylish presentation, and a M.A.C. (Modern American Cuisine) twist,” resulting in nothing short of “ono-licious.”
M.A.C. 24/7 serves Modern American Cuisine 24 hours daily. The eatery is focused on satiating your cravings day and night with breakfast, lunch and dinner served in a contemporary diner atmosphere — it also has a full bar until 3:30 a.m.
The award-winning menu features American and local comfort food classics with gourmet flair.
The restaurant opened in 2006 and is home of the world-famous 5-pound M.A.C. Daddy Pancakes as seen on Travel Channel’s Man V. Food. The restaurant’s signature buttermilk pancakes remain a fan-favorite alongside the Red Velvet and Gluten-Free Mochi Pancakes.
Among the latest great creations at the restaurant is the new Lobster Mac & Cheese Benedict ($19). This indulgent delight boasts grilled tomato, sauteed spinach and zesty sriracha hollandaise sauce over fresh island-baked English muffins.
Turina notes that this item is a “revelatory repurposing of a star player from our pupu menu, the Fried Maine Lobster Mac & Cheese Bites. One bite into the decadent layers will leave you lamenting ‘why didn’t we think of this sooner?'”
Turina says it’s definitely the kind of brunch game-changer the restaurant staff had in mind when revising the menu.
“After being voted ‘People’s Choice Best Breakfast’ at the Ilima Awards this year, we wanted to give our guests more of what they love, but with a fresh take you can only find at M.A.C. 24/7,” explains Turina.
For something sweet, there is the reimagined Hawaiian Stuffed French Toast ($16), an amped up version of the breakfast classic. Turina shares that this consists of ultra, thickly cut slabs of light and fluffy Hawaiian sweet bread filled with lemon cream cheese, and topped with a dollop of Chantilly whip, banana brulee, fresh strawberries and a side of guava jelly.
Turina adds that among the new items are several vegan offerings, including Acai Bowl ($11) with house-made granola, Beyond Burger ($18), swapping beef with a plant-based (and gluten/soy-free) burger patty, and Garden Napoleon ($17), which comes with grilled portobello mushroom, yellow squash, onion, red bell peppers, zucchini, balsamic glaze and roasted garlic pesto.
Therefore, if you are seeking the very best in tasty flavors that are ready whenever you are, hop on over to M.A.C. 24/7 when the mood strikes you.
