With Thanksgiving right around the bend, Little Village Noodle House is helping local diners prepare for the anticipated feast with its popular Thanksgiving Meal-to-Go package.
The restaurant’s Thanksgiving Meal-to-Go ($178) package starts with Chinese Chicken Salad including house-made sesame dressing as well as Little Village’s popular Barbecue Char Siu Pork Ribs, which are baked for more than six hours until the meat is cooked to “fall-off-the-bone” perfection.
The feast continues with a Roasted Turkey (12-14 pounds precooked weight) that is brined overnight and roasted just in time to enjoy on Thanksgiving. Mochi Rice Stuffing is served on the side, and is packed with flavorful additions like shiitake mushrooms, green onions and lap cheong (sweet Chinese sausage).
For dessert, the meal wraps up with Baked Yams Glazed with Coconut Milk, which are cut and baked until tender before being topped with coconut milk syrup.
Packages can be ordered now through Nov. 20 (orders after that will incur an additional surcharge), and the packages can be picked up on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) after 10 a.m.
Guests may choose to dine at Little Village on Thanksgiving to enjoy a half order ($99) of the Thanksgiving package, and diners also can look forward to their favorite menu items including Duck Leg Ramen ($14.50) and Crispy Cornish Hen ($13.75 whole).
From its home in the heart of Chinatown, tucked away in downtown Honolulu, Little Village Noodle House continues to garner critical acclaim by offering award-winning Chinese cuisine in a comfortable setting. The restaurant has built a loyal following over the past 17 years, and regular visitors will attest that the meals and family-friendly atmosphere at Little Village are top-notch.
