The next time you have a really great day or a particularly bad one, do yourself the kindest of favors — treat yourself to a sweet evening at The Reef Bar & Market Grill.
Whether you’re celebrating or commiserating, it’s an absolutely delightful place to sit and sip a tall frosty beverage at the end of a long day.
With dreamy old-world elegance, The Reef Bar & Market Grill soothes the senses with a palette that echoes the ocean at its door.
In fact, guests will notice paddle fans circling lazily overhead as mouthwatering aromas of an assortment of kabobs begin to waft from the beachside grills.
Loaded with either Ahi ($34), Shrimp ($30) or Top Sirloin ($32), each order of kabobs is accompanied by a trip to the salad bar, which offers an extensive array of greens and vegetables.
“The ahi and top sirloin are our top movers,” says Delia Romano, executive sous chef. “They’re cut fresh in-house. You can grill them yourself or the chefs can prepare them for you.”
An intriguing selection of house-made rubs and sauces provides additional flavor. “Whatever the guests’ tastes, we really try to accommodate,” says Romano.
That’s what inspired the Veggie Stack ($26), made with tofu, cauliflower, zucchini and onion, notes Romano. “It’s for the vegans and vegetarians out there who want to enjoy a bar with an oceanfront, and food with great flavor,” she says.
For the ultimate indulgence, The Reef Bar’s Cold Seafood Tower is a magnificent collection of king crab legs, fresh oysters, Kauai shrimp, octopus and ahi poke. The tower can arrive as a double ($65) or triple ($105) layer of goodness.
Save your visit for the end of the week and enjoy “Un Wine Fridays,” with complimentary wine tastings from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by a leisurely dinner and fireworks over Waikiki Beach.
