Serving as shining gems in their communities, Ruby Tuesday Hawaii restaurants are found in Kapolei, Mililani, Moanalua Center, Windward Mall and in Kihei.

Every Ruby Tuesday location offers a cornucopia of steaks, burgers, sandwiches and shareable appetizers. Customers also can try some tempting garden bar salad combinations, seafood, chicken, pasta, ribs, chops and other selections. “Our breakfast menu is unique to Ruby Tuesdays (in Hawaii) and (is) very diverse and reasonably priced,” notes co-owner Rick Nakashima.

The company’s partners Nakashima and Ted Davenport are local boys from Hawaii Kai, who attended Kaiser High and University of Hawaii at Manoa, so they know what locals like.

For example, Ruby Tuesday Hawaii breakfast choices include an abundance of selections such as loco moco, fried rice and eggs, Steak and Eggs, Benedicts, specialty pancakes, waffles, French toast and healthy fruit bowls.

Along with ono, everyday menu items, Ruby Tuesday Hawaii locations also offer specials. Nakashima shares the triple Prime beef patty has returned for the month of August with a “Triple Triple Prime Month” promotion.

“Our beef patties are handcrafted from USDA Prime beef — less than 5 percent of all beef is graded Prime,” says Nakashima.

Customers can start their day the perfect way with Ruby Tuesday’s Triple Prime Loco Moco ($13.99). This satisfying dish consists of a hefty Prime beef patty placed over white rice, which is topped with two eggs and smothered in gravy. And don’t panic when you suddenly develop a craving for loco moco because this item can be purchased all day long.

A second selection on the Prime beef parade is Hamburger Steak Plate ($13.99). This plate is made up of a Prime beef patty topped with roasted garlic mushrooms and onions, all covered in luscious gravy. The patty is served with white rice and yummy mac salad.

The last item rounding up the Triple Triple Prime Month special is The Pimento Cheese Prime Burger ($13.99). This Prime burger is capped with Ruby Tuesday’s house-made pimento cheese, two strips of crispy bacon and tangy pickle chips. It is served with the perfect companion — a side of fries.

Besides filling customers’ bellies, Ruby Tuesday Hawaii fulfills other needs within the community, as it employs more than 400 workers and is a caring, charitable corporation. Ruby Tuesday Hawaii’s “Giving Thanks” event feeds more than 5,000 needy people with turkey meals six months prior to Thanksgiving.
