Asian Mix, located on South Beretania Street, can prepare restaurant-style cuisine in a matter of minutes.

Owner Daniel Leong says that Asian Mix’s goal is to serve quality cooking on a fast-food basis.

“The main thing is (we) save time for customers,” explains Leong.

Diners also can save money eating at Asian Mix, as most of its menu items are less than $10.

The eatery’s Asian-inspired menu offers many delicious items, but there are definitely some stand-outs such as Special Won Ton Noodle ($6.95) and Beef Chow Fun ($9.50).

Curry Chicken ($9.50), a simple yet satisfying blend of carrots, onions and chicken, which is flavored with mild, Indian yellow curry, is another dish under the spotlight.

“The portion is really big. It’s a good dish to go home and share with the family,” Leong says. “One order (is) probably enough for two to three people to share.”

One item customers will not want to share, however, is Barbecue Pork and Ginger Chicken on Rice ($9.50), which consists of roasted pork, steamed chicken topped with a house-made ginger and green onion sauce, choy sum and steamed rice.

“The amount of meat you are getting for $9.50, with rice and everything, it’s a really good deal,” Leong notes. “(It’s) a very popular dish.”

With good food, affordable prices and fast service, Asian Mix is the perfect spot to satisfy one’s hunger.
