Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener is world-famous for its perfectly prepared 28-day, dry-aged steaks and award-winning wine list, but it is also known for its fresh seafood, signature appetizers and an elegant, intimate setting.
Founded in 2004 on New York City’s Park Avenue, the popular steak house has since expanded to 17 locations worldwide with more on the way, according to Mona Wood-Sword, public relations and marketing director.
The Honolulu location opened in February 2009 at Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, and it will be breaking ground on an extension directly across from its current space to accommodate about 100 more guests.
“We only use USDA Prime Grade Black Angus beef for superior marbling, tenderness, flavor and texture,” notes Wood-Sword. “The sides of beef are dry-aged on site for 28 days, carved by our own butcher, and cooked to perfection — with the final step of cooking in our 1,600 degree broiler. The results are luxurious — meltingly tender and juicy steaks served sizzling hot with a perfectly caramelized crust.”
While Wolfgang’s Steak-house continues to be a top favorite for dinner and special occasions, it also is a great spot for lunch. The restaurant offers daily lunch specials for just $12.95 each, available from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Items, such as the Wolfgang Burger, Fresh Mahi Mahi Fish ‘n Chips and Tropical Chopped Salad are just a few delectable dishes you can choose from.
