With the ultimate goal to serve, and to do so with aloha, A Catered Experience covers all your party needs — and then some. Whether you’re trying to stay out of the kitchen during your next event, or hoping to take advantage of a full-service package, call upon the expert staff at the long-standing catering business to make your next celebration enjoyable and stress-free.

With graduation season quickly approaching, make your food and service arrangements now with A Catered Experience — a business locals have trusted since 1978 — and take the hassle out of the busy months. Choose from three different menus, each offered at a graduation-special discounted price, including Light Menu ($8.50 per person), Hawaiian Menu ($11.75 per person; minimum order of 25) and Prime Rib Special ($21.95 per person; minimum order of 10).

Delight in recipes created by the company’s seasoned chefs and sous chefs, such as the familiar local flavors of teriyaki beef and mochiko chicken featured on the Light Menu. Prime Rib Special also pulls out all the stops with whole-roasted prime rib with au jus and horseradish, as well as top-notch items including mac nut-crusted fish with ginger butter sauce.

The Hawaiian Menu, however, remains especially popular, as it features a smorgasbord of island-style favorites. With a serving of steamed white rice — of course — the specialty menu offers perfectly wrapped laulau, juicy kalua pig, flavor-packed chicken long rice, as well as refreshing macaroni salad and lomi salmon. And what’s Hawaiian food without haupia? A Catered Experience makes sure to add the creamy coconut dessert to the unforgettable menu.

Preorder and pickup, or have your food delivered right to you on your special day — wherever that might be (i.e. your home or a designated event space). A Catered Experience sports its own delivery vehicles that are equipped to travel around the island (may include a small fee, depending on the location). And, if you opt for the full-service option, the catering business will bring the food, tables, chairs, tents, lights and even the plates and cutlery, if needed. All party details and menus can be made customizable, too.

“We offer a wide range of food, and if customers don’t see what they want on our menus, then we try to make it for them,” says general manager Ron Hattori. You could even opt to include a carving station at your function, and servers are available upon request to help make your event extra special.

As you search this graduation season for the perfect catering match, remember that good service also is something to consider. Hattori says, “We don’t just cater food, we also assist the clients if they need, even off-premise, where we provide them with excellent service, setup and any equipment they might require.”

The graduation menus are available now and will be offered until Aug. 31, but be sure not to wait too long to place your orders, as graduation celebrations are right around the corner.
