Local diners have enjoyed the GRYLT approach to crafting “good food that’s good for you,” and customers have recently come to know a new facet of the restaurant aimed at helping local families enjoy healthy and delicious choices in a flash.
GRYLT continues to roll out its new Meal Prep service, which launched last month.
“We’ve received very positive feedback; customers are telling us they love the flavors of the items, and even though they are healthy, they aren’t boring,” says Jason Gudeman, corporate general manager at GRYLT. “Diners absolutely love the customization of the meals — we don’t believe in the one-style-fits-all mentality, we want our guests to be able to pick and choose what they want. So many people are conscious of what they put in their bodies. We can help by offering clean, delicious meals for everyone.”
The Meal Prep offerings range from $7.50 to $17 and feature proteins such as steak, chicken, tilapia, tofu and salmon in 4-, 6and 8-ounce portions. GRYLT continues to add new selections, including a 60-day aged Certified Black Angus Tri-Tip steak that is exclusive to the restaurant, as well as swai, an extremely mild and moist white fish that offers a sweet, clean flavor. The complete meals also include two side options, with vegetable and starch selections.
The meals are cooked and ready to be picked up, and just need to be heated up before enjoying. And, as Gudeman explains, they align with GRYLT’s philosophy of including locally sourced produce, steroid- and hormone-free proteins and fresh, not frozen, ingredients to create superb flavor without the excess calories.
GRYLT’s husband-and-wife ownership team of Allen and Mayu Farinas strives to offer restaurant-quality cuisine that is served quickly, yet puts a spin on fast food by offering “a healthier alternative to the plate lunch.” In addition to the exciting new Meal Prep choices, diners can still pick up their favorite GRYLT entree plates, sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, dressings and sauces all made from scratch and incorporating local ingredients.
The management team emphasizes that customers can look forward to an all-around enjoyable experience, including the commitment to stellar customer service coupled with the freshest, tastiest ingredients possible in every meal.
“We take pride in what we create; we’re going to feed our own family with this food, so it’s not going to have any junk,” Allen Farinas says. “It’s all about letting the natural flavors shine through with consciously created, nutritious meals. Come let our family serve your family.”
