They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so on your next morning stroll through Royal Hawaiian Center, stop by Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar for a scrumptious meal to jump start your day.

Yes, this famous Italian restaurant, owned by world-renowned restaurateur Wolfgang Zwiener, offers daily mouthwatering breakfast options.

New to Il Lupino is its Breakfast Set Menu. For $15.95, patrons have their choice of Illy coffee, Dammann tea, pineapple or guava juice; either fresh fruit, Greek yogurt parfait or an acai bowl; and eggs any style, frittata or buttermilk pancakes.

If you prefer to stop by for lunch, opt for the restaurant’s Lunch Set Menu. Also for $15.95, guests are presented with a plethora of options such as Caesar salad, Roma tomato basil soup, Bolognese pasta, gnocchi al tartufo and either tiramisu or gelato for dessert.

New Breakfast Favorites

One of Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar’s newest menu items, adored by many, is its Acai Bowl ($9.95). General manager Heela Mottus says that the restaurant only uses the best acai berries on the market, and the dish is served with local granola, local honey and additional fresh berries. Mottus also recommends Avocado Toast ($4.95). This quick meal is another new addition to the breakfast menu. Mottus describes it as so simple, yet so delicious. “Il Lupino uses only the highest quality ingredients and makes everything home-style,” she adds.

“It would be hard to find such great breakfast items at our prices in Waikiki.”
